This sequel series would take in the prospects of necromancy, revival and the competition between both Baki and Yuujiro were yearning for.
“The Wind Came Out of the Cloud by Night”
Baki Doufollows the concept of the long-since-buried Miyamoto Musashi getting revived through the means of necromancy and science. Taking place right after the match between Yuujiro and Baki, the protagonist and all his opponents find themselves in a slump of boredom, unable to see fit a formidable opponent.

The revival of the swordsman would give them the kind of thrill they had been yearning for.
