He shared,
The pants didn’t really have much to do with the plot. I’m a little bit upset that the pants were the storyline — I wanted the pants to be more of a major part of it. I wanted them to actually have magic powers in some way. And when they didn’t and they were just a pair of jeggings that fit everyone’s shape, it was a little bit disappointing.

His brother, and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend,Travis Kelceargued,“They were tied into the adventures of everyone, that’s what really tied all the stories together.”However, Jason Kelce remained unconvinced that the pants significantly impacted the story.
He also shared that his take on the film had also upset his wife, Kylie Kelce, who told him,“You idiot, it’s a symbol that their friends are always with them.”However, despite his disappointment with the role of the pants, the Kelce brothers praised the film, along with Lively’s performance.
