After the conclusion of Gamescom Opening Night Live, players got an insight intoCivilization 7‘sgameplay systems. The upcoming game has revamped core features and introduced certain mechanics that will help the experience feel vibrant.

With the implementation of these new aspects, players will now have a chance to build an empire based on how they would re-write history and not something we’re already acquainted with in the real world.
Who and What Are You Going to Be In Civilization 7?
The arrival ofCivilization 7will mark a new chapter in the series. For the longest time, these games have been a historical sandbox for players who are creative and genuine in their own right. Who wouldn’t want to change the course of history if they held the power to do so?

However, up till this point, the games have been somewhat structured in a one-dimensional way. Previously, leaders were limited to the things they could often, and wouldn’t let players change much, based on their personality traits.
Thanks toCivilization 7,new mechanics will allow players to experiment morewithout any historical limitations. For instance, imagine playing as someone with the strategic and administrative skills of Caesar Augustus while also making use of Ben Franklin’s political prowess.

Fresh Systems, Familiar Charm
All of this novelty isn’t just limited to how players play the game. Rather, when and where, too. Consider the charm of exploration that’s already familiar toCivilizationplayers. Now, add to that the freedom to build and nurture a world in different eras.

While there’s a lot that has been revealed by the developers, we’re yet to see how players will shape their unique experiences and build new strategies to conquer a newfound world.

All of this also marks an incredible journey for Firaxis Games, where talented minds have been hard at work creating the potential for endless experiences to come.
