As with a lot of different games launched on PC,Helldivers 2was released with some issues. The co-op third-person shooter was one of the first games from PlayStation Studio to launch simultaneously on PC and PS5. Some mixed reviews have been a lethal weapon for Steam users to show their frustration. But this kind of behavior and score make the game not appear on the first page of the Steam selection.

Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter co-op experience.

One of theKindaFunnystars, Greg Miller, rants about this on X, blaming PC gamers for being “picky” about reviewing games.

Helldivers 2 and Greg Miller’s Rant About PC Players

One of the first big launches of the year for PlayStation wasHelldivers 2, developed byArrowhead Game Studios. The sequel to the 2015 title changed all the core gameplay to a third-person action game with a wave system, full of mechanics to unleash all the power of democracy (Orbital Strikes and stuff). The game has solid gameplay and is very fun to play with friends.

But according to some PC players, their experience was not so good when launching the game; some reported crashes, and this escalated to bad reviews on Steam, giving the game a mixed score on the platform.

Greg Miller, a very knowledgeable critic and content creator about gaming, is part of theKindaFunnypodcast. He did not like some PC users’ reactions and review bombing done for the game. So he went to X andposteda not-so-friendly reminder to PC gamers that they loved to have: “Fair trade that there“working games”for“169 frames a second.”” He also wrote, “But I hear ya, PC gamers. Ya gotta have your nude mods and t**ty mousepads and 15-button mouses.”

A Justified Rant?

Some other personalities in the gaming industry, like Alanah Pearce, liked the post and joked about it. Other users didn’t agree with Miller and blamed the studio for not launching the game without crashes. Not so many crashes or issues with the game were reported. But it is fair to say that PC players are a very tricky public in general, so this kind of reaction is not something very unusual in the Steam community.

Helldivers 2 PC Specs Are Quite Reasonable for Such Fluid Gameplay and Graphics

At the moment, theHelldiverssequel does not have a score on Metacritic. That is because PlayStation dropped the review codes with the launch of the game.

The development team probably expected this kind of problem.

Players will have to play the game to report issues or concerns with the title, crashes, bugs, and more.

I’m a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
