Gears of War Players Reporting Getting Free GOW: Reloaded Codes From Xbox
On theGreatXboxDeals subreddit, users are reporting that Microsoft is sending Gears of War: Ultimate owners a free code for Gears of War: Reloaded. The reports are conflicting, with some stating that they only played the game on Game Pass, and yet they still got a code.
Others who said they own the game still haven’t gotten a code, so it’s not a guarantee that owning GOW: Ultimate will net you a Reloaded code. One person said they saw a comment on the Gears of War subreddit where a user who still hasn’t gotten a code reached out to Xbox support, and they were told codes were being sent out in batches per day.
One redditor with the usernameichosenotyoushared they got their code on Xbox chat with the following message,“As a thank you for being a Gears fan, we’re offering owners of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (digital) a free code for Gears of War: Reloaded, playable on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Redeem on console or xbox.com/redeemcode, gather your squad, and get ready to crush the Locust on August 26th!”
