Jeremy Renner Once Spoke About the 2016 Elections
Renner has kept his thoughts about politics and politicians to himself but on the rare occasion of 12thOctober 2016, we got to take a look into what was going on in his mind about it all.
Back in 2016,Donald Trumpwas up againstHillary Clintonas the two major party candidates tried their best to one-up the other. The first presidential debate between the two leaned toward Clinton’s favor where she overpowered her opponent with one statement after the other (ViaNBC News).

Right off the bat, Trump was seen interrupting Clinton, raising his voice, and sniffing loudly as she spoke. Later on, she accused Trump of having a“long record of engaging in racist behavior”which he dismissed. She also attacked the former President for not releasing his tax returns. On the other hand, Trump stated that Clinton didn’t have the“stamina”needed to be President. All in all, it was an ugly fight.
Back in 2016, Renner appeared onGood Morning Britain,he was asked about the ongoing election campaign and“something which has been dubbed the nastiest presidential debate ever in American history.”

When asked about his opinion on Clint vs. Trump, the actor simply stated,“I mean it’s all kind of, you know, quite disgusting to be honest with you.”Apart from this, Renner has barely ever touched on the subject of politics.
The 2024 US Presidential Elections will be heldon November 05.
