TheSoapdishactress sarcastically stated cakes had no political standings and later implied that her order was rejected because the owners disliked her left-leaning ideals (via NBC News).
Now, I should tell you, charlotte russe has no political leanings, and the place that made these refused to make them for me, perhaps they did not like my politics.
Though she didn’t outright reveal the bakery’s identity, the packaging details led to its owner, Holtermann’s Bakery in Staten Island. After this, the bakery owner, Jill Holtermann stepped forward to disparage the accusation levied against them (via Entertainment Weekly).
