Demon Slayer Hinokami Chroniclesstory mode, versus mode explained
Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicleshas a story mode which retraces Tanjiro’s story, though we don’t know yet how much of the manga it will cover in total. Only Tanjiro (and his variants : Water Breathing, Hinokami, and probably Gakuen), is playable in the story mode.
Meanwhile, the game’s full roster is playable in Versus Mode. Players each pick two characters and fight each other in tag battle matches: you may switch with your partner at any time during battle. The game does not feature simultaneous 2vs2 battles.Versus mode includes an online mode as well.
One thing a bit weird however is that CyberConnect2 has yet to introduce any demon playable characters inHinokami Chronicles. Including main villain Muzan. Perhaps we’ll see them through DLC, which would be a bummer to say the least.
