The finale ofLokiSeason 2 premiered earlier this year and gave fans the first sign of how the end of the Multiverse Saga might look like.

Loki Season 2 Finale (2023)

Tom Hiddleston’s god of mischief, showed willingness to sacrifice his life, his friends, and his family to save the TVA and ensure the flow of all space and time. He grabs the very fabric of space-time and builds a throne of his own before weaving the threads together to create a tree. Accordingly, Loki crowns himself master of the multiverse, who possesses the ability to allow multiverses to exist without multiversal conflicts.

The tree he made appeared like Yggdrasil, which comes from Norse mythology. The reference to The Tree of Life seemingly marked the end of the multiverse interventions and with it, the saga itself. Now, the ending ofWhat If…?Season 2 has also seemingly given a nod to the same idea.
