Helldivers 2is having a very good run after not even a full month of release. Johan Pilestedt, the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, the developer of the game, has a very active personality on X. He always posts opinions and replies to players who talk about the game.
In a recently posted video by an X user that shows some similarities withMetal Gear 5, Pilestedt answered the video, and some users began to ask for new movement mechanics from the director of the game. The answer to this request was not what the players would have wanted.

This video shows the similarities withMetal Gear 5and its prone and roll mechanics, which are very similar toHelldivers 2. The video is not a criticism; it is more like a congratulatory video of how the studio chose the movements of the characters and how good this decision was.

A very straight-forward way to manage the community
As with any other game in the development state of the project, decisions had to be made to give shape to the title.Helldivers 2has a very specific personality and gameplay, which is what all players like. The movement, the weapons, and the mechanics make this war experience unique and immersive.
Helldivers 2will add some new content very soon, according to leaks. Apparently, the studio is testing various new weapons, and even mechas will come to this game. There is no roadmap or confirmation done by Arrowhead Game Studios, but after the server issue was solved, the studio is fully focused on new content.
