My journey through education and the arts gave me hope during my wrongful conviction, restoring my faith in humanity, sparking a culture of redemption during my incarceration. By providing access to the movie Sing Sing we can transform lives in ways beyond our imagination.
According toThe Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be accessible in over 1100 correctional facilities. This is made possible through collaborations with nonprofits like Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) and Edovo. These organizations use education and arts as tools for rehabilitation, aligning perfectly with the film’s core theme.

Sing Sing’s simultaneous release in theaters and prisons sets a precedent for how storytelling can break barriers and foster change in unexpected places. Edovo’s founder and CEO Brian Hill said,

A24 and the filmmakers, Greg Kwedar and Clint Bentley paid everyone on the set the same wage includingColman Domingo. Along with that, everyone who was a part of the production team was also allotted equity in box office earnings.
