Starring oppositeMichelle Monaghan, the actor played a former elite assassin, who decides to pack his wife, teen daughter, teen son, and 10-month-old baby into their minivan for an impromptu cross-country road trip.
The 52-year-old prioritizes his family off-camera as well, having been married to Rhea Durham for 14 years. The 52-year-old recently spoke toFox News Digitaland shared their secret.
“Well, look, I mean, we got married in the church. You know, we made that commitment to each other,”Wahlberg said.“That’s something that we take very seriously and so, communication, support. We love each other. I mean, we – like everybody else – we all have problems and issues, but, being able to put those things aside and, you know, we’re blessed.”
He further advised that it’s all about hard work, insisting:“You got anything you want to change? You just got to work hard to be able to go on and make those changes.”
Wahlberg and Durham tied the knot in 2009 and share four children: Ella, 20, Michael, 17, Brendan, 15, and Grace, 13.

How Did Mark Wahlberg Meet Rhea Durham?
As theFather Stustar suggested earlier, the church holds a special place in their marriage. Interestingly, their early encounters also involved church.
According toPEOPLE, the actor and fashion model met in 2001 at a press junket in New York City. There, he asked Durham to attend church with him the following day. Wahlberg revealed:
“I asked her if she wanted to come out with me, and she said yes. Then I asked her if she wanted to come to church with me the next morning, and she said yes again. So that was our first date: St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York.”
Two years after their first date, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ella. Two more kids later, Wahlberg and Durham exchanged their vows. It’s been more than two decades since the romance sparked, but their relationship seemingly grows stronger by the day.
