Jujutsu Kaisenseason 2 has been a hard hitter for fans since they got to experience so much within a season. On top of that, there are still a few episodes left. While the season started light-heartedly, as the story progressed, it sent the fans into a state of despair. As things stand, there seemed to be no end to that despair. One of the characters that have suffered the most is Yuji Itadori.
Yuji Itadori had the hardest time inJujutsu Kaisenseason 2. His latest wound to his soul was the possible death of his classmate, Kugisaki Nobara. But just as he was losing hope, his best friend, Aoi Todo, came to his rescue. He motivated him through a cryptic message, which might have blown over many’s heads. The message had a deeper meaning, which inspired Yuji to get back on his feet.
Aoi Todo Proved That He Is Yuji Itadori’s Best Friend InJujutsu Kaisen
Aoi Todo is a second-year student at Jujutsu High in Tokyo, while Yuji Itadori is a first-year student. They bonded over their preference for women – Tall girls with big b*tt. The duo fought together against Hanami, and they proved to be a deadly combination for the Cursed Spirit. During the Shibuya Incident arc, Yuji kept on suffering from one loss after another.

First, Satoru Gojo got sealed, then Ryomen Sukuna took over his body and ran on a rampage, which led to Inumaki Toge losing one of his arms. After Mahito killed Nanami Kento in front of him, Nobara also suffered the same fate, with her possibly being dead. After suffering so much, Yuji became numb inside, and Mahito was beating him into a pulp. Mahito was feeding on Yuji’s despair, and he was mentally not strong enough to hit back.
At that moment, Aoi Todo came to his rescue and motivated him to get up and fight back.
“The bells of the Gion monastery in India echo with the warning that all things are impermanent. The blossoms of the sala trees teach us through their hues that what flourishes must fade. However! We are the exception!” is what he said to Yuji.
Through his words, Aoi Todo made it clear that time and tide wait for none and take everything with them. Todo is a prideful sorcerer but there was not one bit of boast in his comment. It was a fiery speech against the absolute evil that Mahito was. Todo said to him that everyone Yuji knew had entrusted him with something, and he must carry it. He needs to find answers, and if he does not want to see the answers, then he can just stop.

Later, he said that Nobara might still have a chance of being alive since the medics had taken her. The speech had already lighted a spark in him, and Nobara’s news helped him get back on his feet and fight alongside his ‘best friendo.’
Kugisaki Nobara Still Has A Chance of Survival
While Aoi Todo was motivating Yuji Itadori inJujutsu Kaisen’s latest episode, Arata came to say that Kugisaki Nobara has a chance at survival. Even though he was bleeding, he shook off his fatigue and got up, and a fierce battle began between Mahito and best friend duo.Jujutsu Kaisendid a great job with Aoi Todo’s speech. A simple yet beautiful address was enough to make Yuji rattle up.
It is truly sad to see a character like Yuji Itadori suffering so much inJujutsu Kaisen. He was ready to give up, but Aoi Todo was not prepared to give up on him. While Yuji was trying to take the easiest way, Todo forced him to do his best. Aoi Todo’s encrypted speech proved that he, indeed is his best friend.
