On February 4, Nintendo’s president,Shuntaro Furukawa told Nikkei(translated via VideoGamesChronicles) about how they have made preparations for the upcoming launch of the Switch 2, and have learned from their past experiences to prepare enough console inventory this time to meet demand.
“We will take all possible measures based on the experience we have accumulated to date. We are making preparations.”
According to an earlier report byNikkei,the gaming company had planned to launch the Switch 2 in late 2024, but the company postponed the launch to ensure enough inventory and a line-up of games at the time. If everything goes well, sales analysts are expecting Switch 2 to sell more than 2-5 million units within the first three months.
