COD Mobile
Call of Duty: Mobilewas released as a free-to-play game for iOS and Android devices back in October of 2019.
The mobile game has seen huge success since it launched and offers players many features found in the yearlyCall of Dutytitles. Players are able to choose between Multiplayer or a 100 player Battle Royale mode similar toCall of Duty: Warzone.
Call of Duty: Mobile’s Battle Royale mode is a separate entity toWarzoneand features a different map to the current Verdansk option featured inWarzone’s Battle Royale.
Verdansk InCOD MobileRumours
Rumours began circulating of a new Battle Royale map coming toCall of Duty: Mobileback at the beginning of March, 2021. TrustedCall of Dutyleaker,@ModernWarzone, first noticed the new survey fromCall of Duty: Mobilewhich asked players if they would like to see ‘New Battle Royale Maps, such as Verdansk fromWarzone’.
The survey did also mention the possibility of Eclipse fromCall of Duty: Black Ops 4joiningCall of Duty: Mobile. So, it’s clear that the developers are certainly considering the possibility of a new Battle Royale map joining the popular mobile game.
In a more recent tweet published on May 8,Call of Duty: Mobileteased what many believe to be the inclusion of a Rambo operator. However, some fans were left wondering if it was more than that.
The officialCall of Dutyaccount replied to the image teasing stating, “…but what about a Warzone?”. Now, this could be just surrounding the possibility of a Rambo operator coming to both games, but with the developers already putting the idea out there of Verdansk joiningCOD: Mobile, could this be the start of a bigger crossover?
Cold War&WarzoneSeason 3
Season 3 of bothCold WarandWarzoneis now live in-game! The new Season kicked off on April 22 with a whole plethora of content.
Warzoneplayers were treated to the Destruction of Verdansk Event which saw the map become overrun with Zombies, ultimately ending in its demise. However, the event did finish with players being transported back to 1984 and dropping into a brand new Verdansk for the first time.
WhilstCold Warplayers were given new Multiplayer Maps,New Weapons,New Operators, and so much more!
