You can combine weapons together once they reach level eight if they turn out to be a perfect match. However, for the sake of this, we will only be looking at the individual weapons themselves instead of their combined forms. This list is primarily to help you find and decide what item you should choose when you level up. Not only that, but they provide amindless euphoria of funupon using them

10Pentagram

Pentagram starts the list off due to the fact that it’s able to clear all the enemies off of the screen with no effort on your part whatsoever, this can come in handy if you find yourself in a sticky situation and need a moment to regroup and catch a breather.

The reason why it’s so low is due to the fact that you also erase all the pick-up items that may be near you such as coins, XP, and food. Think of it as a low-risk and low-reward situation. Yeah, it’s good to clear out enemies, but you get nothing for it.

Having Knife early game is extremely useful as it can easily erase some of the earlier enemies such as bats at the very start of the game. The only issue with having Knife is that it requires you to constantly face your enemies which can be difficult to aim at times, especially when you’re cornered.

It’s evolved form is Thousand Edge which shoots out knives at a rapid speed. Other than that it still functions the same as always. If you want something that’s direct then Knife is the weapon you need.

While it may not seem like a lot, you want to have Garlic on you almost every single run you go into. The earlier you get it the better as having it at a low level when you’re mid-game will only end up hurting you. With it leveled up, it creates a protection circle around you making sure that nothing can harm you.

With a high enough level, Garlic can even do a decent amount of damage to higher-level enemies and erase them in about two to three hits, especially with its evolved form Soul Eater Despite what others might say, it’s a must-have.

Using Axe may seem difficult to use since it lobs projectiles at enemies at a slow rate early game, but if you stick it out long enough, it can be a rude awakening for your enemies. If you pair it up with items such as Bracer and Empty Tomb, you may increase the cooldown to launch axes at insane speeds.

Evolving to Death Spiral will have you throwing a circle of sickles at alarming speeds taking out a wide range of enemies. It’s great at crowd control ensuring that enemies don’t get too close to you.

6Lighting Ring

The Lighting Ring is an item that does an insane amount of damage late game and can easily get rid of mobs of foes, but what makes it suffer is how it plays our early game. When you first receive the item, it drops lighting on foes at random which doesn’t guarantee that it will hit anything.

However, as time goes on you’ll find it always finding a target and erasing them as you level it up. Its final form Thunder Loop will chain to enemies causing massive amounts of damage.

5Peachone and Ebony Wings

Peachone and Ebony Wings are grouped together here because they are essentially the same weapon that does the exact same thing. It’s just that one is white, and the other is black. They shoot and bombard enemies in a circle through different rays.

The only downside to these weapons is that while they can erase enemies with ease, they only attack one side of the screen leaving you vulnerable. Together they can be unstoppable and if you do end up with both of them, you may actually reach their combined forms, but that’s a discussion for a different time.

4Santa Water

Santa Water is an underrated weapon. By itself, it may not be able to shine but if you pair it with augments such as Spellbinder and Candelabrador you can find it doing massive amounts of damage, and that’s not even including its initial upgrades. It splashes down a ring of water that does damage to enemies.

In its upgraded form La Botta, the water follows wherever you move to make sure to vanquish enemies that chase you down. It’s useful to have on you, and it prevents anyone from getting the jump on you.

3Runetracer

Runetracer is a weapon that can be used from early on and help you until the very end. It ricochets projectiles off of the walls making sure that it hits something. Even when upgraded a little bit, it covers a massive amount of area adding to crowd control damage.

Plus it gives you a nice color display to look at while you watch it in action. Upgraded all the way you get NO FUTURE which literally obliterates everything in sight. There’s nothing getting past this monster of a weapon.

2King Bible

King Bible is a weapon that is more beneficial to have in the mid-game since early on it does a minuscule amount of damage. Like some of the other weapons on this list, it’s perfect for establishing crowd control and building distance between you and your enemies.

Upgraded to Unholy Vesper it adds a bunch of Bibles to your arsenal and spins at an extremely fast speed. It builds a literal circle around you making you untouchable.

The best weapon that you should receive whenever you get the chance is the Whip. It’s the perfect all-around weapon that works regardless of what scenario you find yourself in. Combo’d with the Duplicator and Candelabrador it can cause some real harm to enemies.

To make it even better, the evolved form Bloddy Tear not only increases the amount of damage that it does, but it also gives you health back for every hit that connects. It’s truly the best weapon in the game.
