As we are getting closer to the end of Episode 6 Act 3 inValorant,Riot Gameshas been sharing more details on its plans for Episode 7, including the arrival of a new Sentinel agent as well as the anticipated Team Deathmatch mode, which is supposed to feature its dedicated set of maps.In a brief video shared on Valorant’s official Twitter account, the developer confirmed that all agents and weapons will be accessible in the upcoming Team Deathmatch mode. However, the mode is going to have its own set of new maps.
Earlier this year, Riot Games announced that a Team Deathmatch mode would be available sometime in 2023. The developer promised to bring its own take on the Team Deathmatch, but full details on it remained undisclosed. In the recent tweet, the developer teased that Team Deathmatch is going to be a fast-paced experience, but still, no further specifics were shared.

Valorant already features a free-for-all Deathmatch, which locks out all agent abilities and only allows weapons. However, Team Deathmatch will override that rule, allowing players to use character skills as well.
Aside from the new mode, Riot Games also teased some other new information for Episode 7 and beyond. According to Anna Donlan, the third agent that will arrive this year is a Duelist. Neon was the last Duelist to join the roster back in January 2022. The release date for this new agent is yet to be revealed.
Last but not least, Riot also promised the arrival of a new progression system in Episode 7 that will allow players to collect the rewards and cosmetic items from previous battle passes. The team will also introduce a new way to unlock agents and the items locked to their contracts.
Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 is expected to be available on June 27. We will hopefully learn more about the new Sentinel joining the roster later this month. Moreover, you can expect the arrival of a new cosmetic bundle to the game as soon as the new episode launches. For now, there is no talk on balance changes, but we should be able to get more information on that as soon as Episode 7 content goes live on PBE servers.
