After long anticipation,Valorantwill finally host a global open beta for its upcoming Premier modestarting on April 25. This is going to be a one-off tournament but includes all the Valorant regions across the globe.

As revealed byRiot Games, the team and personal stats during the open beta tournament will not be carried over to the full version of Premier when it launches later this year. However, this is already a great opportunity to earn some fancy in-game rewards bywinning a tournament in your local region.
Premier Mode Requirements
In order to be eligible to participate in the Premier mode, your account needs to meettwo requirements:
If you are not sure about the second requirement, go to theCareer taband then click on Act Rank. Now open the drop-down menu and check every single Act. If there is an Act in which you don’t have a Competitive rank, then you’re able to’t participate in Premier’s open beta.
Hopefully, there are no rank restrictions for Premier. No matter whether your rank is Iron or Radiant, you are allowed to join a team or form one in the upcoming open beta.
How To Enroll For The Premier Tournament
Now that your account meets the requirements above, you’re able to either join a team or form one. Theenrollment processwill run fromApril 25 until April 28. If your account meets the requirements, you will see an option under the Premier tab on April 25 called “Create A Team.”
Basically, each team has an owner who creates the team and invites others to join. The team leader gets to choose theteam’s nameas well as theregionit is going to play in. Once a team is formed, the leader can send invitations to four other players to join the team.
Before the enrollment process ends, the leader can invite any player to the team with any existing MMR. However, once the enrollment period ends, and you enroll your team, Riot puts you into a division based on the overall MMR of your team. After that, you can still remove players from your team and invite new ones even during the tournament, but the new players shouldn’t change the overall MMR of your team outside your division’s range. In this case, the invited player cannot join the team due to this restriction.
Each account can only play for asingle teamat a time.

Tournament Schedule
When the enrollment phase ends, teams get ready to play their weekly matches. The regular season of thetournament runs from April 29 until May 20. Teams will play matches on a weekly basis, and at the end of the period, the top teams will qualify for the Playoffs.All Playoffs matches will be played on May 21in a single-elimination format with a second chance to fight for the 3rd place. The winner of the tournament will receive anexclusive bannernext to an exclusive title.
For the weekly matches, there will be a certain period of queuing. Once all the team members are ready, you may queue for a match in Premier mode. Keep in mind that you are advised to start the queue as soon as the Queue Window goes live, as queuing late could result in missing the weekly matches without finding a match. You need an overall of375 points to qualifyfor the Playoffs.
