During the course ofWarzoneSeason 3, there was almost the perfect balance, with no weapon meta to be seen. Guns were fair, nothing was overpowered, and everything was right with the community.

Although there was no weapon meta in the previous season, the Roze skin was still running rampant and required a big nerf as players were abusing how dark the theme of the skin was by camping in dark spots around Verdansk.

Then, Season 4 kicked off and now there are overpowered weapons once more. But on the bright side, the Roze skin finally received a nerf. I guess you can’t have it all? Wrong, turns out you can’t have anything nice, as the upcoming Hypersonic Operator Skin is definitely about to become the new Roze skin.

Warzone- Season 4

Season 4 ofWarzoneandCold Warkicked off on Thursday, June 17th with a brand new Battle Pass, weapons, map changes, and more.

There’s currently an ongoing ‘Ground Fall’ event taking place between bothCold WarandWarzone. Players are able to complete various in-game challenges to unlock calling cards, weapon blueprints, and more.

As with most Seasons ofWarzoneandCold War, there were plenty of bug fixes, weapon adjustments, and nerfs. Most importantly, the Roze skin finally received the nerf it needed.

In the official patch notes forWarzoneSeason 4, the following line revealed a new change to the Roze skin:

When players jumped into the latest season, it was clear that the Roze meta may finally be over as the skin was clearly a lot brighter. Previously, players were using the dark theme of the skin to camp in visually dimmer areas of Verdansk and become practically invisible.

To counter this issue, Raven Software dramatically increased the brightness of the Roze skin. Check out the link below to see the new version of the Roze skin in action.

Upcoming Hypersonic Skin

So, with the community finally happy that the Roze skin received the nerf it desperately needed,Call of Dutydecide to revert all of their hard work and design another fully black-clothed skin that will clearly have the same problem.

The Hypersonic skin is yet to be released, but one fan did point out that the text in the image states “Season 2”, which could mean the skin is extremely old and was just never released. However,ElvisCODdid point out that the skin has only just appeared in the game files, meaning it could be due for release in the future.

If the Hypersonic skin is being released in the future, fans can expect it to be another ‘pay to win’ skin considering it appears to be an even darker version of Roze.

Could Hypersonic become the next Operator Skin meta inWarzone? Let us know what you think.
