What Happened Previously On Tokyo Revengers?
The episode began with a dialogue between Kisaki and Izana. Kisaki shared his belief in the importance of influence over intelligence in leadership. He confessed to manipulating events, such as an attack on Emma and an attempt on Draken’s life. Izana questioned Kisaki’s motives for killing Emma. Eventually, Izana allowed himself to be manipulated by Kisaki. They both felt emptiness, and Kisaki claimed ownership of Toman while internally taunting Takemichi about his next move.
At Asagaya Hospital, Draken and Mikey were devastated by Emma’s death, and Draken, filled with anger, blamed Mikey for what happened. Takemichi stepped in, taking the blame and begging Draken to hit him instead. Draken revealed the grim events: the detention of Pah-chin and Kazutora and Baji’s and Emma’s death. Takemichi tried to reason with Draken but realized his own inability to accept Hina’s death, while Mikey remained unresponsive. Toman prepared for a battle with Tenjiku, but the recent events left them in uncertainty. Hina, too, was distraught, and Takemichi attempted to cheer her up. He vowed to fight and protect Hina, even at the cost of his life.
Chifuyu and Takemichi joined Toman at the shrine, announcing Emma’s tragic accident, rendering Mikey and Draken unable to fight. Toman’s unease grew, missing many of their leaders. Inupi argued they weren’t ready to battle Tenjiku, but Takemichi insisted they must that night, despite angering Toman. Undeterred, Takemichi planned to face Tenjiku alone but gained support from Chifuyu, Akkun, and others. Even the injured members expressed confidence in his determination. Finally, Toman, rallied by Chifuyu, decided to confront Tenjiku, despite slim odds.
