The upcoming episode is expected to feature a big confrontation between Taiju, Hakkai, and Takemichi and his friends as they attempt to stop Hakkai from killing his brother. While Takemichi is assigned the duty of convincing Hakkai to drop his plans, Kisaki and the others will be taking down Taiju. Although it’s uncertain if the three would be able to take down a beast like him.

Hakkai gave Chifuyu and Takemichi a day to think about joining hands with them, while they were hesitant to work with them due to their past actions. However, Takemichi still agreed to work with them in order to save Hakkai from killing Taiju and also convinced Chifuyu to work with them as they would be able to know more about Kisaki by working with him.
The next day, Naoto, Takemichi, and Hinato walked to the park from school together. While the latter two planned on spending some more time in the park, Naoto said he didn’t want to waste time and left. Takemichi commented that he was just like Kisaki, and Hinata agreed. But this came as a surprise for Takemichi as he never knew Kisaki and Hinata knew each other.
She then told him that she and Kisaki went to the same cram school together, and no one in the school liked him except for her. She also told Takemichi that the first time she met him (Takemichi) was with Kisaki. In a small flashback, we saw Kisaki and Hinata walking home from school, and they found a few kids bullying a cat. Hinata stepped up against them while Kisaki tried to stop her. The kids started to bully Hinata instead until Takemichi came to her rescue. Although Takemichi got stomped, he left a good impression on Hinata, and she started liking him.
In the present, they decided to meet at Umishita Park on Christmas Eve, and Takemichi recalled how he dumped Hina in the same park on Christmas. However, as things were going well between them, he believed that the future had certainly changed. But soon, he met Hina’s father, who convinced him to leave his daughter as he didn’t want his daughter to date a hoodlum. As a result, Takemichi dumped her, and Hina took out her anger on Takemichi by beating him. Later, Takemichi met with Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma to discuss their plan for the last time.
