There’s nothing more badass than Soul Reapers in Tite Kubo’s series. Decades back, Kubo gave us some of the iconic characters through his manga. The anime took it to a whole new level with its soundtrack and impeccable visuals.

Thousand-Year Blood Wardid the unthinkable by notching it up. The sequel gave us a preview of some of the legendary Gotei 13 members. This also leaves the mangaka with several ideas for the franchise.

The original 13 court guards are mentioned in a flashback. The scene is nothing short of iconic. From Unohana to Yamamoto, the franchise could achieve a breakthrough with a prequel to the original Captains.

Fearless and ruthless, the captains redefined strength and badassery. To say the least, the prequel would be a rager if Kubo were to explore the uncharted lore and backstories of the characters.

Tite Kubo could cash in on theBleachlore for this prequel idea

Bleachdoesn’t get enough credit for the sheer amount of well-written characters in the series. Barring Ichigo and the main characters, Kubo worked a great deal on the side characters. From Yoruichi to Oetsu, the side characters add more depth to the overall plot.

Besides that, the series has a rich lore worth expounding on. This includes the history of Kenpachi and the battle for succession. But most of all, it is the Gotei 13 that is yet to be charted.

The thirteen Court Guards not only looked menacing but were the biggest threat to Quincy. They proved lethal in the battle against Yhwach. This was when the Quincy King attempted to invade the Soul Society.

Thousand-Year Blood Waroutlines their badasseryin a flashback. In a jiffy, the captains incapacitated most Quincies and annihilated them. While the anime provided a glimpse of it, it could prove to be a great prequel idea.

Above all, the history of Gotei 13 and Four Great Noble Families would be nothing short of epic. This only proves that the series holds a treasure trove of uncharted possibilities with this lore.

Gotei 13 and the pool of uncharted possibilities

Be it Kenpachi or the Noble families,Tite Kubo’sseries is a wonderland of possibilities. Yet most of these possibilities and lore remain uncharted, especially with the Gotei 13.

While Yamamoto gathered the group for the war against Quincies, it was anything but civil. Most members of the original squad were merciless in every possible way.

The Court Guard Squads in the original series seem a bit toned down. As opposed to the bloodied and menacing past, the current Captains are rather structured. This was especially true after the annihilation of Quincies which led Yamamoto to change their ways.

What makes the prequel idea rather enchanting and enthralling is the unhinged nature of the battle. While we witnessed a glimpse of the battle, the spin-off would top the charts in most aspects. This ties in well with Unohana’s bloodlust and other captainsunleashing their depravity.

ForBleachfans, be they readers or viewers, it would be nothing short of a delightful sight. We can only wait and hope for this idea to be greenlit. It would certainly be the greatest feat for the franchise nonetheless.
