Tite Kubo’sBleach: Thousand-Yearhas been more popular than ever as the series is believed to be near perfect as it follows the source material ardently. But what makes the viewers follow the series more passionately is how Studio Pierrot showcased its ability to animate the scenes much better than what the author did in his manga.

Part of the series’ popularity can be because the series specializes in featuring new faces in the Shonen series, adding more names to the already vast list of characters. One of them is Senjumaru Shutara, the Royal Guard, who is believed to be one of the strongest female characters in the entire series.
The character blew away everyone, as her presence in the series was game-changing and made the viewers glue their eyes to the screen. While the character has been a delight to watch, Kubo-Sensei added an irk around the character, which makes the character equally frustrating to watch when she gets her much-deserved screen time.

Tite Kubo Knows How to Make EveryBleachCharacter Annoying
WhenTite Kubo’sBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Wararrived on the scene, it took the anime industry by storm. It was believed to be the most perfect version of the series, far better than the original. However, for the fans, it was not the return of their favorite series, but an opportunity to witness some new characters, who redefine the word ‘strength.’
One such character is Senjumaru Shutara, who played a humble yet major role in the series. At first, it was believed that the manga author had made her a comic relief character, as she was the goofiest member of the Royal Guard, who constantly teased Mayuri Kuotsuchi.

Moreover, her absurd threat to not let Renji measure himself was the house to many jokes. But all doubts vanished when she showcased her powers against the Schutzstaffel, Yhwach’s four elite guards. Unlike the Gotei 13 Captains, her power put her in a league of her own, making everyone realize how appearances can be deceiving.
Everything about her character was perfect, which nearly made her the best character in Thousand-Year Blood War. However, Kubo-Sensei ruined it all because he made her too broken by featuring not only an overpowered Bankai but also overwhelmingly powerful techniques that make the fans realize that the battle is over before it even begins.

Her slender needle, which she carries in one hand, is a small but deadly weapon, that pierces right through the hearts of her enemies. And her precise strikes make her even more overpowered. As a result, fans are immensely tired of watching her fight because she can weave a new faith for her foes that is limited only by her imagination and her weaving skills.

The side character has been a delight to watch in the Shonen series, as she was believed to be a relief character who would be strong but not broken enough. But each fight, in the end, would be pre-declared.
This feeling was shared by the fans onRedditas well, where a user asked theBleachcommunity to give their thoughts on the lovable yet so overpowered characters. They commented,

Nevertheless, Kubo-Sensei limited himself in giving the character far too many broken abilities, which at one point would make the viewers feel that she’s not only broken but also more powerful than Yhwach, the main antagonist of the series.

These instances have limited her from being the best character in the entire series, despite having the potential to be one, making it feature4 major red flags in the show.
