While Gosling was long rumored to have been cast as Nova in the MCU, an industry insider recently revealed that Gosling has been cast as Ghost Rider in an upcoming Ghost Rider and The Midnight Sons film. Gosling is set to play the Johnny Blaze iteration of the character. However, fans are not that happy with the casting.

The Midnight Sons consists of many occult characters of the MCU such as Blade, Doctor Strange, Morbius, and more. The announcement is set to be done at the D23 event.
However, not all Marvel fans are on board with Gosling as Ghost Rider. Many cited the actor’s last outingThe Fall Guy’s box office bomb as the reason for his casting to be a bad idea. Others preferred Gabriel Luna’s portrayal of Reyes in the TV show to return.
