Being isolated on an island is already a chilling experience, but being stranded without essential supplies makes it even more intense. While many are familiar with howreality showsfunction, some past contestants have shared surprising revelations that will likely shock the public.
In an interview withBusiness Insider,Survivor: Island of the Idolscontestant Elaine Stott spoke about a hidden medical box. This box, located in the woods, holds crucial supplies such as sunscreen, bug spray, and vitamins. He further added:

If you needed any of that stuff, you could just go to the med box. (Stott further said) They only allow one person at a time to go so you’re not congregating back there.
He further also revealed that participants carry items like tampons and contact lenses in their personal bags before setting foot on the island. To add further intrigue, another contestant, Beck, revealed that the cameras are intentionally turned off when the participants visit the medical box.

(Further) Then we also have the podcast that we’re doing. It’s a year-round job. I know that surprises people. How could it possibly be? But almost every day I’m touching ‘Survivor’ in some way.
