Fans were surprised by the announcement of the fourthKung Fu Pandamovie because they didn’t see it coming. They got a sneak peek during the 2024 Super Bowl with a teaser trailer showing off new characters and funny scenes. The official synopsis onIMDbreads:
“After Po is tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace, he needs to find and train a new Dragon Warrior, while a wicked sorceress plans to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm.”
Jack Blackis back to voice Po, just like in the previous movies.Awkwafinajoins the cast as Zhen, a sneaky thief who Po trains to be the new Dragon Warrior. Also, Oscar winnersViola DavisandKe Huy Quanare joining the team as Chameleon and Han, respectively.
InKung Fu Panda 4, Davis’ character, Chameleon, takes on the role of the new villain. She’s a shapeshifter who uses her abilities to mimic the traits of Po’s previous enemies.
