One of the best parts about a massive open-world RPG likeBaldur’s Gate 3is the gradual trickle-down of information months after release.
During the game’s third act, the party has the opportunity to access a rare merchant if certain steps are followed. This sequence of events is not something most players would do, however.

The rare merchant becomes available after completing the quest ‘Impress the Murder Tribunal’ but only if you slay Valeria, Jaheira and Minsc — a tall order for everyone except the darkest of Dark Urges.
Baldur’s Gate 3’s Least Played Class Is One Of Its Most Powerful
It’s not just a worse paladin.
After becoming a loyal Bhaalist, the player will be able to trade with the Echo of Abazigal. This creature is the ghost of Abazigal, a blue dragon Bhaalspawn that Gorion’s Ward defeated during Baldur’s Gate 2’s Throne of Bhaal expansion.
Abazigal sells several potent items. His inventory includes a three-piece set of Bhaalist armour. The most interesting piece are the Bhaalist Gloves which grants the player the ability to Garrotte, a unique action. This equates to bludgeoning damage which the target must succeed on a strength saving throw to escape.

He also sells several weapons, including two unique daggers: Dolor Amarus and the Dread Iron Dagger. A unique shortbow, shortsword and battleaxe are also among Abazigal’s wares.
In life, Abazigal was a Blue Dragon. He was a member of the group of Bhaalspawn known as ‘The Five’ who sought to revive their father during the Bhaalspawn Crisis of 1369. Each member of the group was eventually slain by Gorion’s Ward.

Abazigal, along with fellow ‘The Five’ members Illasera and Sendai, the deceased Bhaal priestess Amelyssan and Sarevok comprise the Murder Tribunal, a group that can elevate individuals to Unholy Assassins.
If Sarevok is opposed then you’ll have to defeat the entire Tribunal, including the Echo of Abazigal who is a level 11 Undead. Needless to say, you won’t be able to access him as a merchant if you choose this path.
