However, the Gotei 13 has been struggling, and the battles are making them look weak. This, in a way, is disrupting the name of the original Gotei 13, who were founded by Yamamoto and were able to take down Yhwach and his first army in an instant. But the only problem is thatBleachfans don’t know what happened to them after they were able to exterminate the Quincy race.

There have been many theories about how their individual stories ended, but none of them have been confirmed by Tite Kubo. But theBleachmanga creator might have dropped some hints about what actually happened to the original Gotei 13, and it might not be as satisfying asBleachfans have hoped.

According to Yhwach, the original Gotei 13 was a group of the most dangerous killers in the Soul Society who werebrought together by Yamamototo protect the Soul Society from outside dangers. They were the strongest versions of the Gotei 13, and once they exterminated the Quincy race, they mellowed out and let others take the reins.

Tite Kubo already hinted at what happened to the original Gotei 13

It is stated that after the original Gotei 13 defeated Yhwach and exterminated the Quincy race, they mellowed out to ensure the peace of Soul Society inBleach. However, their end was never discussed in the story, and fans have often tried to figure out how the strongest versions of the Gotei 13 went out.

There is a possibility thatTite Kubomight have already hinted at it with the description he gave about the group. As it was mentioned, the original Gotei 13 were responsible for exterminating the Quincy race and defeating Yhwach. Which might have obviously resulted in some casualties that could have taken down some of them.

Aside from that, it is also stated that the original Gotei 13 was a collective of criminals and brutal killers, which hints that they might have had some infighting, which could also have resulted in their deaths considering the sheer amount of power each of them had. There is also a chance that most of them succumbed to age and time as the group was originally formed 1000 years ago.
