Store pages for bothEuro Truck Simulator 2andAmerican Truck Simulatorare now live on the official PlayStation Store. There’s no official announcement at this time, but with it beinggamescomweek, don’t be surprised to see these games pop up at some point during the show.
It’s been a long time coming for these games to see a console port. Euro Truck Simulator 2 was first released on PC in 2012, with American Truck Simulator following up in 2016.
ThePlayStation libraryis no stranger to simulation games, whether it’s similar simulator titles like this or other sim games such asTwo Point Hospital.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator Are Two of the Very Best in Their Genre
Despite their age, both games remain some of the best of their class, with both boasting"Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam.
Euro Truck Simulator lets you travel across Europe with the intention of transporting cargo across the continent. This includes iconic cities such as London, the scenic sights of the European countryside, and everything in between, with more than 60 European cities available.
The American counterpart, American Truck Simulator, is more of the same, albeit taking place in the United States. The PlayStation Store’s page mentions how the game is based on the success of Euro Truck Simulator 2. There’s a far more robust list of features available, including truck models from officially licensed manufacturers, cabin customization, a photo mode, and more.
At this time, there’s no release date or price point available for either game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the titles as ashadow dropped releasefollowing their announcement. Both games are $19.99 currently on Steam.
