Ever sinceÂThe Last of Us Part IIwas delayed last week, fans of Naughty Dog’s highly-anticipated sequel have been wondering when further news on the project might pop up. Well, only a few days later, and one of the game’s actors is seemingly teasing something, which now has many waiting anxiously to see if it might involve the upcoming game.On Twitter recently, Troy Baker, who plays Joel inÂThe Last of Usand its upcoming sequel, teased that news of some sort is headed our way. “Some big news coming soon,” Baker said simply. “Stay tuned.“While this was a very straightforward messaged, it’s one that immediately got many people asking questions. The replies to the tweet were filled with inquiries from many all asking what it is that Baker could be talking about. The tweet also staggeringly received over 1,000 retweets and nearly 20,000 likes. With only seven words, Baker was able to draw in the interest of quite a lot of people. Since this message, Baker has also remained relatively silent on the platform.

It’s worth noting here that just because Baker is teasing that news of some sort is incoming, it doesn’t mean it will be related toÂThe Last of Us Part IIwhatsoever. In fact, while Baker’s most iconic role might be that of Joel fromÂTLOU, he has played numerous other characters in video games over the years. Plus, he has plenty of other side projects that many might not be aware of, too. From co-hosting a podcast, to running a YouTube Let’s Play channel calledRetro Replay, to evenwriting and recording music, Baker is a bit of a renaissance man and has his finger in a whole lot of pies.

No matter what this might end up being, it’s easy to see that Baker has drummed up quite a lot of interest in this impending announcement. If whatever Baker might be teasing ends up being relative to video games orÂThe Last of Us Part II, we’ll let you know.
