The Clickers inThe Last of Usare just terrifying, there’s no other way to describe them. With their penetrating clicking sound, high pitch screaming when they spot you and the horrendous fungus protruding out of every orifice, they aren’t something you want to stumble across on a dark night - or ever. But then there are cosplayers who love nothing more than dressing up as these virus-infected, spore popping creatures for the fun of it, can you even imagine? Although in saying that, one cosplayer, in particular, has done a pretty good job at recreating these forbidding terrors with amazing results.

Cosplayermaking.amess.cosplayshows us how well she can slip into the shoes of one of the infected fromThe Last of Us. Not only has she crafted the massive bulging Cordyceps fungus-infected brain with remarkable ease, but she has also perfected the fungus ridden attire to go along with it and has crafted the entire mask by herself.making.amess.cosplayused a general plastic Halloween mask as the base and then covered it in spray polyurethane foam. Once that dried, she carved into it and painted it using a handy clicker makeup tutorial onYouTube.

In one picture, we see Ellie getting munched on by the infected cosplayer with the tagline “Amanda’s face is our mood after finding out Part 2 is indefinitely delayed because of coronavirus”. I think that’s all our moods after hearing thatThe Last of Us Part 2wouldyet again be delayeddue to the effects of the pandemic the world is currently struggling through and then subsequentlybeing removedfrom the PlayStation store. Naughty Dog game directorNeil Druckmann discussedin the latest episode of thePlayStation Blogcastabout the circumstances of the delay and the effect it’s had on the team, the options being considered for the game’s eventual launch, the problems with releasing a demo in the meantime, and how much work is left to be done on the title.

If you don’t want to be spoiled at all for the impending launch ofThe Last of Us Part 2 (whenever that will be)then you’re better off not watching the latestleaked game footageshowing Ellie playing the guitar and running around a theater. Although the video has since been removed from YouTube but not before obtaining 50,000 views and a mass of people downloading it.

The Last of Us 2was originally set to release late in May but as of now, no release date has been rescheduled. As always, when anyThe Last of Us Part 2news drops in, you can be sure that DualShockers will have it covered.
