Arthur is prisoned, and he finds Director Goodsky locked there as well. As she was unaware of what happened at the Xyrus Academy, Arthur tells her about everything. But Arthur is not able to understand why the council decided to lock her. She then asks why Lucas turned out to be this way, to which Arthur replies that he was on the same drugs, going on in the school for a while. But he was more powerful and doing everything in his senses, says Arthur.
Goodsky asks about Draneeve, to which he replies that he wasn’t able to see him. She says that they are moving forward with the plan faster than her expectations. Director further says that she is bound to be silent about what she knows.
Now, Dawsid comes to talk to Blaine about the current meeting. Blaine says that he very well remembers their agreement and assures him of their votes. But he further says that Arthur was the one who saved everyone’s life at the school. They then start to talk about someone who they primarily address as “Him.” Dawsid says that Arthur needs to be sent to “him.” Blaine says that they are betraying their own continent, to which Dawsid says that this continent is up for destruction, so they should just think about themselves at the moment.
Dawsid says that he should think about the wealth, power, and prosperity “he” will bring with him. Blaine separates himself from Dawsid by saying that he is only following “him” to protect his family. After that, Dawsid leaves, and Blaine continues drinking. He starts to think about his father, who was drunk on power, and how Blaine promised himself to always remember that he needed the power to protect his people. Blaine then falls on the floor while drinking and says sorry to Arthur for being a part of their conspiracy.
