There are many who believe thatThe Bearwas in the wrong category all along, and there seems to be a reason why. Despite its focus on the more serious aspects of the restaurant business, the comedy nomination of the show might have more to do with how it’s billed than the actual content of the show.

While these shows don’t usually allow audiences to have a lot of laughs, there isn’t really a metric for how ‘funny’ the show is for it to be classified as a comedy. Sometimes even sitcoms, that are designed to generate a lot of laughs, end up having some very serious moments, despite them being billed as comedies
