Harry Lawtey found it hilarious to watch Jon Snow getting suffocated in a ball pit of stuffed toys. He got to beat up co-star Kit Harington with a stuffed toy in the second episode of the third season ofIndustry. Harington joined this new season as Henry Muck, the CEO of a green tech company. According to Lawtey, Harington had a big-brother dynamic with him during filming.
Harington had been a long-time fan of the show and asked to be a part of the series. Lawtey shared that he came in with no ego of being an actor who had been established in television. Interestingly, fans will get to see Lawtey play the role of Harvey Dent in the upcoming DC Elseworlds filmJoker: Folie à Deux.

Harington volunteered to be part of the Industry cast and had some great combination scenes alongside series regularHarry Lawtey. In the second episode of the season, Lawtey and Harington’s characters fight in a kid’s playroom in one scene.

Lawtey opened up about the fun-to-film scene with AV Club, sharing that it happened only 24 hours after he had met with Harington. Their first scene was a confrontational scene that came right before their toy fight. Lawtey shared that they went from a very dialogue-heavy first scene between them to a ridiculous“totally pathetic”fight scene.
Harington and Lawtey did their best to sell the scene to the audience. Lawtey joked that it was a lot less structured than any of the combat scenes thatHarington used to do inGame of Thrones. He revealed that it was hilarious to watch Jon Snow fighting with stuffed toys. Lawtey shared that the scene spoke to the broader theme of environmental CEOs and their integrity. It’s certainly a lot less structured than any combat scene that Kit Harington is used to, which I think is hilarious. You’ve got Jon Snow being suffocated in a ball pit with a stuffed toy. But again, he kind of threw himself into it, and we didn’t coordinate it too much. Of course, we wanted to verify that everyone was safe, but we wanted it to be ugly and awkward and absurd.
And hopefully it comes across like that, with maybe a slight undertone of weirdness, because it leans into a tone that’s, ‘Oh, there’s something going on here.’ That stuffed toy stayed on his face just that little bit too long. And you question the limits that all these people are being pushed to.
While the scene would seem funny to the viewers, the stakes were very real and vivid for the acting duo. Lawtey shared that the characters Robert and Henry were not really aware of how pathetic the fight was and the actors had to maintain that level of seriousness.

When the interviewer mentioned that his and Kit Harington’s dynamic in the series felt more like brothers, Harry Lawtey definitely agreed. He shared that it was a joy working with Harington in the series. TheGame of Thronesstar came with no ego of being an accomplished star.

He came in with absolutely no ego and a real spirit of generosity and collaboration. And I found it so easy to work with him. Honestly, he’s just a very generous actor, and he’s very well prepared and really funny, like you say. And he’s funny in real life.
This is a great angle [for him], especially for fans of him. It’s a new side to him, and it shows what a versatile performer he is. And I had such a great time with him on set. We were constantly laughing. We sort of developed our own little bromance.
Industry‘s third season, which debuted on August 11, has been receiving positive reviews, with a 96% approval rating onRotten Tomatoes. The website consensus shared that the series has managed to come up with“cunning and surprising new angles”in this“ruthless”new season.
