The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomfeatures many shrines on the ground, but there are a number of them scattered in the clouds as well. While you might think all shrines are already visible in the game, there are some that require you to finish a quest, so you’re able to unlock them.

Taunhiy Map 1

Taunhiy is one of the shrines in the game that you should do a task before unlocking it. Don’t worry! It is not going to be a boss or tough fight. It’s just simple skydiving with a few added challenges.

How To Unlock Taunhiy Shrine

Before you can unlock Taunhiy Shrine, you need to activateLindor’s Brow Skyview Tower, which adds the maps for Tabantha Frontier and Hyrule Ridge to your pad. If you have already activated it, fast-travel there, and use the tower to head to the sky.

Once you are in the clouds, open your map and switch to the Sky vision. Now, you should be able to spot a circular platform at your southwest. If you think you might lose it after closing the map, mark it.

Use your Glide to move toward the round cliff on top of the circular platform. Once you verify you are exactly on top of the cliff, put the Glide aside and dive. Once you are close enough, activate the Glide for a safe landing. This way, you won’t eat up all your energy.

Now, there is a rocky ring in front of you, featuring a holographic hand. Examine it to activate the quest for unlocking the shrine. As you can see, it will activate another holographic ring at the far end of the cliff.

Move there, and press “A” to jump. This is a simple skydiving challenge. You need to pass through the green rings in the air until your reach your destination. Use the same Glide trick we explained earlier to safely pass through the rings. Once you successfully crash inside a pool, you will see a shrine will spawn in the same platform. This is the Taunhiy Shrine.

Solving Taunhiy Shrine

Solving the shrine’s puzzle is much easier than unlocking it, but you will need your Glide once again. As you enter the shrine, you will see an enemy in the middle with four fans around it. All you need to do is to shoot arrows at the enemy while you are in the air, and those fans are there to push you upside.

So, grab the bow and arrows on your left side - if you don’t have one - and stand on top of a fan. Now double-press and hold “X” to activate the Glide. The fan will push you upward. Once you are at a safe distance from the ground, Hold “RZ” to switch to the bow. You will realize that you enter a slow-motion mode, giving you more time to shoot at the enemy. Shoot a few arrows and drop, to get a “Well Done” message on the screen. Now, more enemies will spawn.

Taunhiy Sky Location

to one-shot all enemies, we suggest you enhance your arrows with other items likeBokoblin Hornor anything that can simply deal increased damage. For doing so, hold “Up” on D-Pad after holding “RZ”. Choose your favorite item and leave “Up”. Now, you can shoot an enhanced arrow.

Once you kill all the enemies in the same way, you can get your Light of Blessing. Keep in mind that you can only damage the enemies with midair shooting in this shrine. So, don’t even try other methods.
