The secret to doing this can be found in theRoyal Hidden Passage. Completing the side quests “Who Goes There?” and “A Deal With The Statue” inLookout Landingwill grant you access to the Royal Hidden Passage and to this powerful ability. This guide will cover where the passage can be found, how to enter, and how to reallocate your health and stamina.

How To Start “Who Goes There?”
To access the Royal Hidden Passage, you’ll first want to havecompleted one of the regional Temples. Once one of these has been conquered, return to Lookout Landing and climb down into theEmergency Shelter. You’re looking forJerrin, one of the Hylians sweeping by a short set of stairs in the back. You might have spoken to her previously, but now, there’s ahole in the wallbehind her.
Speak with Jerrin, and she’ll explain shecleaned a bit too hardand knocked out a chunk of the wall. Ever since, she’s been hearing ademonic voicecoming from within. Once you’ve begun the side quest, crouch and head into the passage.

Find The Horned Statue In Royal Hidden Passage
After breaking apart the rocks to the right, you’ll come to a small room with a horned, demonic statue inside. The statue is a bitsinister, and it might look familiar toBreath of the Wildveterans. In BotW, this statue was found outsideHateno Village. The statue explains its story; it was transformed into this stone statue by theGoddess Hylialong ago. The Goddess Hylia, as further punishment, moved the statue here, underground.
Despite these punishments, the horned statue wants to continue its dark deeds ofmeddling in life and vitality.

The horned statue will thenremove one heartfrom you.
This will then prompt you toreturn to Jerrinto explain what you found,concluding the “Who Goes There?” side quest.
This will also begin theside adventure: “A Deal With the Statue.”

How To Complete “A Deal With The Statue”
Speak with the horned statue again, and you canrequest either a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel. The statue will return it freely, and then it will explain its deal in more detail, which will then complete the very small butworthwhile side quest.

The process to exchange your essence is a bit convoluted, but it’s ultimately quite simple:
