As one of thehardest enemiesin the game, Gleeoks are suitably difficult to find inTears of the Kingdom. Encountering the rogue Thunder or Flame Gleeok out in the wilderness can be rewarding, but finding anddefeating every single Gleeokis an achievement worth chasing.

There are two types of Gleeoks: the regularelemental oneswith only one element to their name andKing Gleeoks, which can shoot lightning from one head, frost beams from the second, and Fire from the third. Here are their locations.

Flame, Frost, & Thunder Gleeok Locations
There arethree typesof elemental Gleeoks, and all of them only roam a select area on the map. They’reonly found on the Surface; you won’t encounter a Frost or Flame Gleeok in the Depths or in the Sky Islands. Here is every known Gleeok location on the Surface.

Lake Hylia(North of Faron)

A Flame Gleeok is guarding thecenter of the Bridge of Hylia. Take the bridge from either side of the river to reach him. The closest Teleport point is thePopla Foothills Skyview Tower.

Spectacle Rock(Eastern Gerudo Desert)

Use theGerudo Canyon Skyview Towerto give yourself some height and paraglidesoutheast. You’ll see the flickering fire of the Flame Gleeok sitting on top of a large rock formation on a plateau.

Trilby Valley(West Of Zora’s Domain)

Use theUpland Zorana Skyview Towerand head towardTrilby Valley. You’ll see a Flame Gleeok flying in circles above the valley near theswitch-shaped Dragon’s Tear markings.

Rayne Highlands(West of Tabantha Bridge Stable)

From thenorthernmost part of the Tanagar Canyon, climb the mountain range to the north. The Flame Gleeok is sitting at theentrance of the Ancient Columns region.

Use theRospro Pass Skyview Towerand head directlynorth. The Gleeok is flying in circles just to thenorth ofIjo-o Shrineand its surrounding archipelago islands.
Gerudo Summit(North of Gerudo Desert)

Take theGerudo Highlands Skyview Towerand paraglide directlynorth. The Frost Gleeok is located on top of a stone formationnear the summit of the mountain.
North Tabantha Snowfield(Northwest of Snowfield Stable)

From thePikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower, the Frost Gleeok is flying directly to thewest. It is circling in the middle of the snowfield.
Thunder Gleeok
Coliseum Ruins(Southwest Hyrule Field)

The Coliseum Ruins are directlyeast of theOutskirt Stable. They’re located high up on the mountainside, so it will be a bit of a climb to get there. The Thunder Gleeok is waiting inside.
South Akkala Plains(South of Akkala Citadel Ruins)

Use theUlri Mountain Skyview Towerand headsouth. The Thunder Gleeok is stationed on a jutting overhand that extendsbehind the Akkala Citadel Ruins. Its glowing yellow lightning is visible from a distance.
South Faron(Near Herin Lake)

Located justunderneath theThunderhead Isles(the swirling storm in the sky). The Thunder Gleeok is visible from a distance sitting out in the open. Theclosest fast travel point is theUtsushok Shrine.

King Gleeok Locations
King Gleeoks are much more powerful versions of regular Gleeoks, possessingthree heads for one of each element. King Gleeoks are only presentin the Sky Islands and in the Depths. They cannot be found anywhere on the surface.
Players need to be prepared forone of the hardest fights in the gameif they’re planning on taking on a King Gleeok and coming out unscathed. Here is every known King Gleeok location:
King Gleeok
Necluda Sky Archipelago(Sky - Above Eventide Island)

Use theRabella Wetlands Skyview Towerto reach the archipelago just above it. Activate theKumamayn Shrineand head to the northern island (just before fighting theFlux Construct 3). You should be able to see the island with the King Gleeok inside it in the distance. You need to createa long-distance flyingZonai vehicleand a lot ofbatteriesto reach this island. It’s recommended that you haveTravel Medalion unlockedso you don’t have to make this journey again. Create the flying vehicle usingAutobuild(we used ahoverbike) or from the components at hand to reach King Gleeok Island. Put down the medallion before the fight.
West Hebra Sky Archipelago(Sky)

Use theRospro Pass Skyview Towerto reach the islands up above that house theIjo-o Shrine. If youlook up from the shrine, you’ll see King Gleeok Island up above in the sky. You’ll needa good flying Zonai device to reach it and spare batteries. We used a hoverbike again and reached the island after using a fully upgraded battery pack witheight batteries. The King Gleeok is circling the island at the top.
North Gerudo Sky Archipelago(Sky)

Take theGerudo Highlands Skyview Towerand anglesouth. You’ll see the King Gleeok Island in the distance. It takes aboutthree and a half bars ofstaminaandTulin unlockedto reach the island. BringStamina Elixirs.
Gleeok Den(Depths)

Teleport to theThyphlo Ruins Skyview Towerandjump down the chasmdirectly to its west. The Gleeok Den is to theeast of the chasm entrancein the Depths. You’ll be able to seea small gap in the wallto squeeze through. A Gloom-ridden King Gleeok is waiting inside.
