What Are Relics?
Relics are a new category ofendgame equipment drop. They can be weapons, armor, or jewelry. Virtually all Relics existed in previous versions of the game as special drops and have now been integrated into this new system. But not all endgame drops are Relics, so just because you get something unusual or new it might not be a Relic. The easiest way to tell is that all Relics have aspecial red backgroundon their icon.
How To Upgrade Relics
As soon as you acquire your first Relic, you will unlock a new option at the shop, “Upgrade Relics.” You won’t actually be able to use this facility until you havetwo identical Relics. All Relics require copies of themselves to upgrade, destroying one in the process.
When you have one or more duplicates, you will be taken to a new screen where you may select which you wish to upgrade, and which you wish to destroy in order to complete the upgrade. This screen will show you whichstatswill be upgraded by the process. Remember there areseveral attribute screens to scroll through, so check through them all to see the changes before you confirm.
