How To Get Booster’s Charm

Booster’s Charm isone of the game’s accessoriesthat is actually able to be missed entirely, so knowing how to get it is something you will want to know sooner rather than later. You will have your chance of grabbing it while making yourfirst trip through the Booster Tower. As you progress in the game’s story, you will reach thetop of Booster Tower— where Mario will find Peach. It is at this time that Booster will make his way towards the two andMario will need to hide. This will trigger a mini-game to occur where you will need toavoid being detected. Be advised that if you do get caught, you will not get Booster’s Charm. So be sure tomake a save at any and all Save Blocks you see— this way you can reload if you fail. Booster and his minions will be standing in the room, with his minions checking behind various curtains. You will beable to move sideways during this timeand you will need to be behind one of the curtains thatdoes not have a minion standing in front of itwhen the drumroll ends. It will start pretty easily with just one minionchecking behind the curtains, but as the game goes on, theother two minions will join in. The trick to easily beating this game is toalways have an escape route ready.

If you have a curtain that you can run to if one of the minions suddenly makes a dash to the curtain you’re hiding behind, you canrelocate without worryof having nowhere to go. Never go to one of the end cornersunless the drum roll is about to stopwith one of the minions in front of your curtain. If one of the minions reveals you, you will need to reload your save, but at the end of the mini-game,Booster will open the final curtain concealing Mario. He will notice the Mario Doll he is looking for is on ahigh-up shelf, and out of his reach. This realization will cause him to break down in tears. However, a quickjump from Mario under this shelfknocks the doll down and a grateful booster will reward Mario with Booster’s Charm. This accessory willhalve all elemental attack damage that its user receives. It also shares this effect with another accessory — the Nurture Ring.
