When you first enter the Sunken ship, you will have topass through several rooms filled with various enemies. After going down two flights of stairs, you will come to a room with 3 doors.Each of these has a puzzleyou will need to tackle. Go through the first door, and you will see astacked pile of J crateswith a ball on top, agreen button, and aflying Koopa. The Koopa willfollow you around the roomas you move around.All you need to do is simply run to the side of the stacked cratesopposite the green button. Then you will need to lure the Koopatowards the portholeof the ship. As the Koopa nears you, run to the other side of the tower so that the flying Koopa willknock the ball onto the green button. A scroll will drop from the ceiling. Pick it up, and head back outside and through the second door. The message on the scroll reads as follows:

For this puzzle, you will see3 Clown Springs that are moving left to rightat the same time. Go to theJ box on the far left. As the Clown Spring aligns with it, jump up tocause the spring to stop. Do the same with thenext two J boxes. A ball will fall onto the first spring, and bounce from each of themonto a green button. This will cause another scroll to fall down. Pick it up, and head back outside and through the third door. The message on the scroll reads as follows:

The 3D Maze Puzzle

When you enter this area, you will find alarge number of J boxes. Head southwest and you willfind a doorwayinto the J boxes. They willcompletely cover you and prevent you from seeing where you are, so knowing what direction to move in and when to jump will bevital to your success. Head in astraight lineas you go through the doorwayuntil Mario comes to a stop. When this happens,move to the rightand keep going until Mario stops again. Whileholding right, jump and Mario will begin moving again. Follow The Coin Puzzle

This puzzle isreally easy to understand, but not so easy to do. You will see a coin that is moving, and leaving a trail of more coins as it does. Collect each of the coins it leaves behind,but do not collect the coins leaving the trail. Keep following this coin along the route it travels. It will then stop next to the entrance.Collect it when it stopsfor the scroll to drop. Pick it up and leave this room to go through the next door. Cannon Ball Puzzle

This puzzle is verysimilar to the secondSunken Ship puzzle. You will see several Cannons and several floating J Boxes.Head to the J box on the far leftside and jump under it. This will cause the first cannon tofire out a cannonball. Head under the second J box andjump as the canon ball is between Mario and the J boxso that Mario hits the cannonball into the second J Box. This will cause the second cannon to fire.Repeat this processwith each of the cannonballs shot until you get the scroll and proceed to the final door. You will seetwo green buttons on the floorand a pile ofbarrels to the right. Jump along the barrels arranged like stairs on the far right side and thenjump to the end of the middle row. You will now be in a room with6 floating J boxes. You will need to use the information you havelearned from the various scrollsyou have collected. Each J box will have various letters and a marker that willchange when you jump under the box. Start with the closest row of J boxes, with thefirst box being the one on the left. For “Key Letter 1”, jump under this boxuntil the marker moves onto the “P.”Go to the middle front box anddo the same for “E.”For the box on the far right of the first row, verify thatthe Key Letter is on “A"and then go to the box behind this one.Jump until “R” is selectedand go to the middle box of the back row.Jump until you have “L” selected.
