Developer Shift Up has confirmed that the new boss and outfits will be available to PS5 players for free.

Expect A Stellar Blade PS5 Patch To Be Released Alongside The PC Version
The new boss battle is against Mann, the leader of the Sentinels, which Shift Up says, “He is a seasoned warrior, a master of weapons, the bodyguard of Orcal, and the guardian of Xion. Face his might in the Boss Challenge and prove why Eve is truly ‘worthy'.”
Aside from the boss, there are also 25 new outfits to be added, which means players will have a lot new photo opportunities once the free content is out. PS5 gamers who own the game can expect a title update to deliver the new content, which should also contain bug fixes and the like.
There is no word yet on when we’ll be getting the patch, though it should be the same day as the PC version’s launch or at least close to it.

Regarding critics, Stellar Blade has a “Strong” review onOpen Critic, withan average score of 82.
Stellar Blade on PC launches this June 11, and expect the PS5 update to be released near it.
