Starfieldoffers players a large galaxy to explore, full of planets to explore, weird alien species, and pirates looking to take your cargo and leave your drifting through space. The main story and major faction missions will give players plenty to do and take them across the galaxy, but there are other side missions players can complete.

Mission boards are located throughout the galaxy inmajor cities. These Mission Boards will give players missions of varying difficulty to complete for a quick payout of credits depending on how difficult the mission is.

Using The Mission Board
Mission Boards are consoles that arefound in many major cities throughout the galaxy.They are usually found in popular location in the city, such as theMission Board in the bar atNew Atlantis.Missions Boards offersimple side quests to completethat will have you clear out some bandits, take down a small fleet of pirates, or transport resources between systems.
Missions Boards havea few open jobs at a time.For new missions to load, you’llneed to complete one of the existing missions in order to make room for new missions to come in. you’re able to accept as many missions as you’d like and complete them whenever you see fit. After completing a mission, a new one will be available back at the mission board. Themore complex a mission, the more credits you’ll be rewardedfor completing it. Missions Boards willmostly offer missions at therecommended levelof the cityyou accept them in. Mission boards will give players aseemingly infinite amount of side queststo engage in, helping them level andearn creditswhere they are in the galaxy. Mission Boards can also bebuilt in outposts or apartments for easier access.

Constellation Mission Board
While most of the Mission Boards in the galaxy give similar jobs, theConstellationMission Board gives much higher paying missions.These missions aremostly survey-style missions, having you fly to far away planets toscan entire planets or unique traits on a planet.While these missions will take extra steps, they are well worth the credits. This Mission Board islocated in the lower section of The Lodge, along the left wall in the room full of workbenches.

Claiming Your Rewards
Once you have accepted a quest from the Mission Board, these quests can befound and tracked in the Missions tabof your character menu. After you have found the target of your mission and either completed the task or eliminated an enemy, a notification will appear in the top left and right of your screen. Thetop left will tell you which mission you have completed, while thetop right will tell you how many credits you have earnedand will immediatelyadd them to your inventory.
