You’ve just started a brand-new farm inStardew Valley,and you wake one morning to find a letter stuffed in your mailbox. It’s fromRobin; she’s lost her favorite axe and wants you to help find it. That’s right — Robin gives you this quest every playthrough, but wait. Where was that axe again?

One of the first quests you’ll come across in every playthrough is Robin’s Lost Axe, and if you don’t know (or can’t remember) where it is, you could be searching for seasons with little luck. Here’s how you may find Robin’s axe and complete this quest in short order.
Where To Find Robin’s Axe
Robin’s Axe can be tricky to find if you don’t know where to look, but it’s not that hard to get once you do. First, you’ll need to go down to the area south of the Farm, Cindersap Forest. Go to the bottom left of the map — you’ll have to cross some wooden bridges that span the river to get there.On the far right wall of the map, just above the bottom, you’ll find Robin’s Axe near a few bushes.If you’re looking to make the most of every day, try and pick up the axewhile you forage in the spring.

How To Give Robin Her Axe
To return the axe to Robin, you’ll first have to find her. Robin spends most of her time in the Carpenter’s Shop in the Mountain map (north of the Farm), but keep in mind that the store closes every Tuesday. Once you’ve found Robin,place her axe in your hotbar and give it to her like you would a gift.This will complete the quest, remove the axe from your inventory, and trigger a special dialogue prompt. Again, to make the most of every day, save turning in the quest until you want tobuild something at the Carpenter’s Shop.

What Are The Rewards?
For turning in Robin’s Axe,you’ll get a handsome sum of 100g and one Friendship heart with Robin.It’s not an amazing reward, but it’s a good way to make a bit of extra cash in your first year for very little effort.
