Meeting Krobus For The First Time
You might not meet Krobus for a while becausehe lives in the Sewersunderneath Pelican Town. To get access, you’ll need to donate60 items toGunther’s Museum.

In particular, Krobus’s shop offers aStardropfor merely 20,000g. If you have a whopping 2,000,000g to spare, he’ll even sell you the game’s onlyReturn Scepter.
However, this item is well worth the cost—it warps you straight to your front door whenever you wish.
Best Gifts For Krobus
Unsurprisingly, Krobus has aslightlydifferent taste for gifts than the other villagers. After all, he’s a void spirit—not a human!

Inviting Krobus To Move In
After reachingten hearts with Krobus,you can invite him to move in with you on the farm. To do so, you’ll need to gift him aVoid Ghost Pendant.
You can’t get this special pendant from theOld Marinerat the Beach. Instead,take the bus to Calico Desert.
The Desert Trader has the pendant you’ll need to prove your friendship to Krobus. Fork over 200Void Essence,and it’s all yours.
There’s also a chance you’ll get the pendant as loot afterdefeating any monster in Skull Cavern.However, if you’ve already acquired a Void Ghost Pendant, a second one can’t spawn.
Krobus’s Heart Events
There is a single cutsceneHeart Event,which depends upon your relationship with Krobus. After Krobus moves in with you, your friendship with him can reach 14 hearts, just like any of the romance candidates.
Once you’ve reached the full 14 hearts,head to the Beach between 8 PM and 1 AMto trigger Krobus’s Heart Event.
Krobus is also featured in a cutscene with theDwarf.To trigger this Heart Event, you’ll need to havepurchased the Stardrop from Krobusand haveat least one friendship heart with the Dwarf.
The next time you enter the Sewers, a cutscene will trigger, which hints at why the dwarfs and the void spirits don’texactlyget along with one another.
