The start of 2023 couldn’t be better for Star Wars fans as it brings back the elite group of clone troopers and their mercenary missions with a second season. The CGI-animated TV series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, started airing on January 4th, 2023, with two episodes released simultaneously, and now the remaining episodes will follow a one-episode-per-week schedule. Just like the first season, the second season also consists of 16 episodes, which means fans will receive non-stop entertainment for almost three months.
Hunter and Wrecker leave Dooku’s palace while trying to remain unnoticed by the troops, while Omega, Tech, and Echo are saved by the containers. While coming down the mountain, Tech gets hurt, and the cargo container skids and settles at the cliff’s edge. In the meantime, Hunter and Wrecker manage to leave the palace and hide somewhere in the city. But the stormtroopers tighten the security by calling in air support.
After making their way out of the container, they meet a man named Romar Adell, who is hiding in the woods. To stop the Stormtroopers, Hunter and Wrecker use the war tanks, after which they take a ship and head toward their friends. Omega believes they can still secure the war chest crate, so she climbs down the cliff using Romar’s cable, and Echo comes to assist her. But he unknowingly runs into the Imperial search parties who were sent to check up on the crash site.
In the meantime, Tech arrives and clashes with the troopers while Echo and Omega look for the chest. While getting the treasure back, a box falls on Omega, spilling the treasure. As she recollects the treasure, Echo tells her to get back to safety, claiming the treasure is not important. But Omega reveals that she heard when he told Hunter how he doesn’t have a normal life because of her.
They are about to fall off the cliff, but Romar saves them. Finally, everyone unites, and Vice Admiral Rampart keeps the secret about the mission’s failure a secret and reports to Governor Tarkin that they have recovered 85% of the war chest.
