During your many hours of exploration of Koboh and beyond inStar Wars Jedi: Survivor, you’ll uncover several rumors — side quests which will earn you various rewards upon completion. One such side quest is to investigateDredger Gorge’s Rusted Elevator.

In order to gain access to this elevator, you’ll first need to unlock theLift and Slam force abilitiesduring your exploration of theLucrehulk Corelater on during the ‘Koboh - Rescue Zee from the Lucrehulk’ mission. Once this mission is complete, head back toPyloon’s Saloonandspeak with Mosey, who will tip you off to this little rumor.
How To Reach Dredger Gorge’s Rusted Elevator
Dredger Gorge’s Rusted Elevator can be foundjust past the Tar Damyou encountered during your initial visit to Koboh. Just above the dam, you’ll find arusted elevatorthat you’re unable to reach. Fast Travel to theSouthern Reachmeditation point, then head toward the giantFriendly Creature. Once you reach it, you’ll find the rusted elevator up to the right.
Unlocking Your Path With The Orb
Use yournew Slam abilityon the rusted elevator, granting you access to the platform above. Up here, you’ll encounter aBedlam Raiderand a fewrecommissioned battle droids. As you follow the path around, you’ll pass a large rock wall to your right that is pulsating a light blue; your ultimate goal here is to figure out how to destroy this wall to continue through this small area. You can run past it for now.
Toward the far end of the path, past a black barrier (more on that shortly), you’ll encounter aDroideka. Eliminate this enemy, then head back into the cravass. Back here, you’ll find an orb. You’ll want to use the force to pull the orb to you. Your goal:get it across the gapto that platform over the tar below, where those battle droids shot at you from.
Carry the orb up near the edge (but not too close) and release the force pull button, dropping the orb to the ground. The orb will remain on the ground for a number of seconds, but it won’t wait forever; if left unattended, it will return to its most recent receptable. So, right after you drop it, leap across the gap to the other side. From there, turn around and force pull the orb to you before it has a chance to despawn.
Now that you’re on this new platform, you’ll find adeviceoff to your left.Toss the orb into the device, which will activate the now familiarpurple beam. This beam willblast right through the black barrier, destroying it and clearing your path forward.

Roller Mine Puzzle
Now that the black goo barrier has been destroyed, you’ll gain acess to a small passage beyond. Across the way, you may see the back side of that highlighted blue stone wall we mentioned earlier. You’re close to destroying it, now. Back to the passage, however. Here, you’ll find acontrol panel for BD-1 to slice. Be careful when doing so; activating it will spawn a roller mine in the middle of this passage, and it will immediately roll toward you in the hopes of detonating.
Your goal is toblow up the highlighted wall across the large gap, but force throwing the roller mine won’t quite reach; the mine is too heavy to make the journey, and it will detonate early after arcing into the pit.
Instead, after you spawn a roller mine with BD-1’s assistance, leap back up onto the higher platform you dropped down from. The roller mine can’t reach you here, but it will continue trying to. From the safety of this vantage point,force pull the roller mine up to you.
You can’t run the mine all the way around to the wall — the mine will explode in your hands —but what you can do is release the force pull button,gently dropping the roller mine to the groundon this elevated level. So long as you dash away immediately and keep your distance, it will simply begin pursuing you in the hopes of detonating.
Lead it around to the flashing wall. Now that you’re closer, use the force to pick up and throw the roller mine into the wall, clearing your path forward.
Use BD-1’s Koboh Grinder Ability
This will unlock a new path. You will find a couple vertical surfaces on which you may wall run, but your destination has more of thatblack goo covering the grateyou’ll want to grab.
Equip BD-1’s ability,Koboh Grinder, to draw a path from the purple beam up to the black goo, as featured in the image above; this willburn away the black goo, clearing your path forward. Now, you’re free to wall run, jump, and grab onto the grate to continue.
Upon reaching the platform after climbing the grate, head to the left and toward sunlight. Out here, you’ll spot the friendly creature from before — as well as a glowing item on the ground. Interact with the glowing item to gain1 new Perk slot, helping expand your customization options even further.
