Star Citizenmight feel like an extremely lawful universe for newcomers, but there are indeed little big criminals roaming around space, and you’re able to join them too if you need to get rich quickly.

Committing a crime in Star Citizen does have consequences, but probably the biggest one is the fact that you get banned from landing on any UEE cities and space stations, except for one, which doesn’t belong to UEE anymore. So, as you may have already guessed, Grim Hex is the safe house of criminals.
Where Is Grim Hex Located?
Grim Hex is a small spaceport inside an asteroid, which is whirling around Yela, the moon of Crusader. Simply, you need to get to Crusader, and then travel to Yela. If you turn on your Quantum Travel at Yela, you can spot Grim Hex at the heart of an asteroid belt. The spaceport is surrounded by many little big asteroids, which makes it a bit difficult to fly quite fast around it. Similar to lawful spaceports, Grim Hex features hangars and drop-pads for different ship sizes. However, there are no centurions or guardian outposts around Grim Hex, which makes it quite safe for criminals.
Where To Set Grim Hex As Your Respawn Point
If you are a criminal, you will be sent directly to prison after getting incapacitated, but it is still possible to make Grim Hex your regeneration point if you don’t have any plans for giving up on criminal activities.
After reaching the lobby via hangar elevators, continue the path straight to the far end of the corridor, where a green light of a medical center is flashing. Once you reach the pharmacy, in front of it you can spot a sign reading “Insurance”. Beneath the sign, there are two terminals, using which you can set your regeneration point to Grim Hex.
What Else Can You Do In Grim Hex?
While you are at Grim Hex, around it, or even around Yela, you will receive more criminal quests, which can be accepted on the Personal tab of your Contract menu on MobiGlass.
Other than that, Grim Hex includes weapon and armor shops. Moreover, this spaceport is the only place where you can purchase a Tigerclaw, which is a hacking device required for wiping your Crime Stat at the Security Post Kareah, and this is already a crime as you can guess.
In order to get to the shops, follow the corridors in front of Fleet Manager terminals, where a big “HEX” logo is located. Use the elevators to descend to the lower level, where you can find all the shops and restaurants in different corridors. Keep in mind that some corridors lead to space as Grim Hex is an incomplete spaceport. So, always wear a helmet to avoid choking.
Furthermore, if you want to trigger a PvP dogfight without UEE forces becoming nosy, you can do it around Grim Hex.
As a final tip, always keep your ship locked at Grim Hex hangars and drop-pads, as other players can get on your ship and simply steal it. Although you can still claim a new one via Fleet Manager, you will waste several minutes to get your ship back.
