Split Fiction Movie Lands A Big Star To Headline The Project
In a new report by entertainment rag Variety, it mentions that Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus) is now set to star in the Split Fiction movie adaptation, with the script being written by Deadpool & Wolverine screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
Sitting in the director’s chair is Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians). The movie will be produced by Story Kitchen along with Chu’s Electric Somewhere, while Sweeney is also set to executive produce.

If you’re wondering which part Sweeney will play, Variety’s sources state that it’s yet to be decided whether the popular bombshell will play Zoe or Mio. For those unfamiliar with the game’s story, Split Fiction blends fantasy and sci-fi, and follows a pair of authors, Mio and Zoe, who have become trapped in the words they wrote. The game can only be played co-operatively, so expect the film to have two lead stars.
