Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Season 2 in July?
Rocksteady’s newest project has only been out for two months now. Yet,Suicide Squad Kill the Justice Leaguehas already launched its first set of free updates starting with Season 1.
Several balancing changes, bug fixes, and the inclusion of Elseworld Joker should make anyone still playing happy. However, it appears Rocksteady isn’t letting up on the gas, and already has a release window for Season 2.

July 4th is the current release date for Season 2 ofSuicide Squad Kill the Justice League. While players and the overall gaming community are not happy with how Rocksteady navigatedSuicide Squad’s release, it doesn’t seem to affect the dropping of new content.
Season 1 Already Bombed, Why Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Season 2?
Fan reaction towards Season 1 has already been disappointing. Players are not pleased with the way this “Joker Season” is structured. Having players grind Season Rank 35 before having the chance to unlock Joker is absurd. Why not have the Elseworld Joker unlockable at the start, and have additional missions to properly introduce him?
In addition, the content in the update is lacking, to say the least. No new story content, with very surface-level additions like weapons and skins. Players were hopeful forSuicide Squad Kill the Justice Leagueto improve, but this first update is already a failure for many.

Forcing the players to continuously grind for new content is not enjoyable, especially when the content itself is nothing new for the existing player base. The two-month wait for this update was certainly not worth it.
Rocksteady probably already has a timeline laid out forSuicide Squad Kill the Justice League. If the studio continues to displease their players with how the content is structured or lack of it,Suicide Squad Kill the Justice Leaguewill have no more players to receive these updates. Hopefully, Season 1 Episode 2 can turn things around.Did you play Season 1 ofSuicide Squadyet? Are you looking forward to the possible release of Season 2 in July?
