A few hours before theSolo Leveling Season 2 trailerwas scheduled to be released, the supposed trailer of the sequel has been leaked online. The trailer looks stunning and features many exciting future events from the manhwa. The first season of the anime was released at the beginning of this year, and compared to the sensation that the manhwa is, it failed to live up to the fans’ expectations.

However, there’s still hope as the best arc of the manhwa, the Jeju Island arc, is yet to be adapted. The first season briefly teased the Jeju Island Arc, so fans expected it to be a part of the upcoming season. While fans are eagerly looking forward to it, the trailer doesn’t show any scenes or glimpses from the Jeju Island Arc, which is quite alarming.
No signs of Jeju Island Arc inSolo Leveling season 2 trailer
The first season ofSolo Levelingconcluded with the Job Change arc, as Sung Jinwoo welcomed Igris to his army. There was a scene of S-Rank hunter, Choi Jong-In on Jeju Island, which made fans believe that the second season will feature the arc. However, theSolo Leveling Season 2 trailerdefies that expectation as it barely shows any scenes or glimpses from the fan-favorite arc.
The trailer features the S-Rank Hunters and their interactions with Jinwoo along with some scenes from the Demon Castle Arc and the Red Gate Arc. There’s a faint possibility that they arekeeping the Jeju Island Arc under wrapson purpose to build up the hype. Although that’s pretty unlikely when we consider the plot progression in the first season. The second season is likely to follow a similar pattern, which raises some concerns.

Fans might need to wait a bit longer for their favorite arc inSolo Leveling
The Jeju Island Arc is considered the best arc ofSolo Leveling, as it shows Jinwoo’s full strength against a threatening villain. The fight scenes are some of the best and beyond thrilling. However, fans might need to wait a bit longer before they get to see Jinwoo’s best fightin the anime.
The first season of the series adapted the manhwa up to chapter 45. The upcoming season picks up the story from the Red Gate Arc. If the chapters-to-episode ratio remains the same, then the next arc will adapt the manhwa till the 90th chapter, given that the season is listed with around 12-13 episodes. That marks the end of the Return to Demon Castle Arc.

Fans Shouldn’t Hold Back on Their Expectations for Solo Leveling Season 2 After the Anime Reached Another Huge Milestone
If this is how the plot progresses in the upcoming season, then the Jeju Island Arc will be shifted to the third season of the anime. There’s another exciting possibility that suggests that the final episode of the next season will introduce the Jeju Island raid. With all the information that we have so far, these are all the possible ways in whichSolo Leveling Season 2can play out.
Solo Leveling season 2will be released in January 2025.
